May 2004 Pontonius is a one-man-band and was formed in 1996 by Pontus Olsson. Pontus background before 1996 was mostly an Amiga/C64 tracker composer. But then he developed the artist Pontonius for composing music for his own purpose. This is the key of Pontonius music, meaning it is not produced in commercial purpose and reflects his own feelings, temper and influences. By the years this has resulted in a wide range of genres composed in Pontonius music.
